We are proud to sTATe that as from now, the new Clean Label® definition is ready to be shared with the world!
In the passed years, we worked on a stricter Clean Label® definition. This is to make sure that we always meet our customers' and consumers' expectations on transparent, healthy and cleaner products.
We only grant Clean Label® to the food products whose list of ingredients contains:
- no artificial colorants
- no preservatives
- no hydrogenated oils or fats
- no high fructose corn syrup
- no chemically modified starch
If needed for functional reasons, only natural flavours and few additives are present.
In 2022, we updated our definition and in our new Clean Label® definition we limit the list of additives permitted in our Clean Label® products to only 4.
Only the following additives will be permitted for functional reasons under our Clean Label® definition:
- Carotenes (E160aii/iii)
- Ascorbic acid (E300)
- Lecithin emulsifier (E322)
